DS MAtch Fic: Want

Title: Want
Author: Team Whimsy Member
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski
Rating: PG
Length: 4000
Why I'm reccing this fic: Whimsy in this fic is part of everyday life. Some people have extraordinary abilities, and while you can sense that is critical to this story, just why isn't revealed right away. The threads of this story are woven together wonderfully. Images of a blond man Fraser can't forget, an encounter with a woman who looks like Victoria that made me understand her place in Fraser's life in a way I never have before. And when it all comes together, it's perfect and breathtaking and leaves you aching for more. And once you know the truth, you can go back and see all the places it was brilliantly hinted at.

DS Match Fic: Want

Title: Want
Author: [livejournal.com profile] dessert_first
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski
Rating: PG
Length: 4,000 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: Yes, I know, [livejournal.com profile] jule112 just recc'd this story. But everyone NEEDS to read 'Want' right now. The author takes Kowalski's canonical character and extends it down a tragic path in this AU. Fraser, and Ray's attraction to him, are illuminated from an unexpected angle. It feels true, and it hurts. There is a slow and skillful reveal that I can only admire.

DS Match Fic: Deep Colours Bleed

Title: Deep Colours Bleed
Author: to be revealed
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski/Vecchio
Rating: PG-13
Length: 5,000 words
Why I'm reccing this fic:

There are a lot of difficult themes addressed in this story - and no, it's not an 'issue' fic - but it's done without melodrama. I love the little glimpses into a very mature and complex relationship, and how they make it despite all the complications work.

DS Match Fic: First One Thing, Then the Otter

Title: First One Thing, Then the Otter
Author: to be revealed
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski
Rating: PG-13
Length: 13,100 words
Why I'm reccing this fic:

Because this is a totally hilarious story, which made me laugh out loud many times. And despite the theme it has this magical mysticism so very much entrenched in due South. And on top of this we get an actual case.

Loved every second of this story.
