Ok, I have to rec a story that most of you already know but I LOVE it to bits and it's the very first thing on my mind: A Dare's A Dare (http://www.trickster.org/speranza/Dare.html) (Fraser/RayK) by Speranza. It's so funny and bittersweet and hot. I adore the Fraser characterization, here, it rings very true and natural to me. He's confident, smug, and pissy. Also, it has a Miss Fraser reappearance and it's dating!fic, which I love.

There is a slightly less obvious crossdressing choice that comes to my mind: Makeup (http://www.dueslash.com/new/viewstory.php?sid=147&ageconsent=ok&warning=3) (Fraser/RayK/Frannie) by j_s_cavalcante. It's a long, plotty, and crazy case!fic. Like always, J S puts a lot of effort in the setup and makes the whacky back story believable. An evil porn!producer has his way with Fraser, RayK, and Frannie. It's very much fun to read. With drama. And Frannie is too awesome for words in this one. Crossdressing is only a small part but worth it.

Anyhoo, these are my favourite "boys will be girls who are boys" fics for due South. All are F/K (First Time, Established Relationship or Pre-Slash), by the way.

Two of the absolute hottest ones are brooklinegirl's Lipstick Vogue (http://happyfriendbox.tripod.com/lipstickvogue.html) (crossdressing!RayK) and dessert_first's Simply Green (http://dessert-first.livejournal.com/30201.html) (crossdressing!Fraser). The first one reads like a 'day in the life' type of fic with bonus sex scens while the latter is NC-17 casefic with Fraser as a tranny hooker and RayK as her/his pimp!!! 'nough said.

zelempa wrote Volcanic Geranium (http://archiveofourown.org/works/61507?show_comments=true#comment57654) for me, but even if she hadn't, I would have squeeed to the top of my lungs. It's funny and sexxaay casefic that has crossdressing!RayK.

Blowing It (http://dira.ficlaundering.com/ds/flash/blown.html) by dira_sudis is an interesting pre-slash F/K.

kristiinthedark's Pantyverse Series (http://kristiinthedark.livejournal.com/tag/pantyverse) is a smidgen angsty toward the end, but well worth reading.

I remember going I NEED MOAR OF THIS 'VERSE when I finished torakowalski's Bizarrely Perfect (http://community.livejournal.com/ds_flashfiction/352063.html) with established F/K and crossdressing!RayK and their kid.

The one crossdressing fic that pushes my buttons like WHOA is, hands down, lalejandra's Woman like a Man (http://community.livejournal.com/ds_flashfiction/351683.html). A crossdressing!RayK who works vice, Vecchio 'warning' Fraser to keep away from RayK and a Fraser who is totally charmed with skirt-wearing!RayK makes me do this \o/. It's pre-slash, btw. One can only imagine how the smexin' would have gone if the fic had had a sequel . . . . >.>

RayK wakes up with no memory, faced with Fraser in drag. It's short and sweet, and very hot.
