Why I am reccing this fic:

Because it hits my priest kink like none other. Because I have a serious addiction to AUs. Because as a recovering Catholic I can voutch that she has her stuff down. Because it is seriously HOT. And because it is so much more than just a PWP. I think that this might be part of a larger work that she is currently working on, but it stands fine on its own. I know that everyone probably read it during getfraserlaid  but I feel as though this one can not be read too frequently!

Fraser and Ray K explore their bondage kink. Really, what part of that doesn't sound like something that you'd love to read? *g* Seriously, it is a wonderful exploration of their desires. Fraser longs to loose that control that he always has and Ray wants to be the one who makes him loose it. And because it is a series, you get 8 bits of hotness! (And for those of you who are like me, it is especially wonderful because there is D/S without the S/M, a fact which makes me jump with glee)

And it is stories like this that make me love stop_drop_porn so very much. I didn't even think that I had a genderfuck kink. And, uh, this kind of proved me wrong on that point! Wonderfully still in character, Ray and Ray are still very much the guys that we know and love. Vecchio just happens to be a girl. And he discovers some of the wonderful points of having sex as a girl, which is always just fun!

As a former Catholic as well I found myself nodding along with all the name- and rite-dropping in "In the Darkness". That and I found it captivating. Such a well-written interesting work.

I think that my favorite bit name dropping may have been the joke that Fraser makes about if he had wanted it to be easy he would have joined the Fransicans. Priceless! I seriously hope that Aukestrel is either Catholic or recovering, because no amount of praise and feedback could possibly compensate for doing that much outside research! I am glad that you liked the story - it is kind of one of my favorites ever.
