How about a long fic challenge, say any story over 50K? I love reading stories that have real plot or relationship development, but on LJ it's hard to find the really in-depth stuff.
Also a gen fic challenge would be nice, since people tend to rec based on their favourite pairing and gen needs a little love too. I know there's some awesome stuff out there that's just got lost in the shuffle.
On that theme, how about pairings related challenges, F/K, F/V, K/V obviously, but rarer pairings as well, like Fraser/Thatcher or Frannie/Elaine.
I just want to add that this comm was an awesome idea and I've got to re-read a lot of stuff I loved as well as discovering some completely new stuff. Keep up the good work!

But also I'd like to add a pure NC-17 slash (could be het, though, you never know) recs challenge for some point in the future: theme: fuckbuddies which maybe leads to more or is maybe just angsty and that's it.
I tried to submit a rec for this latest challenge, but the coding kicked my ass, big-time. So I guess I'll just sponge off everyone else.
