I don't know if this would work as a rec challenge -- Choose a writer and rec three stories by that person that really show what they can do.

Most weeks I've already read most of what's been recced--which I don't mind at all. What's interesting about recs is often reading /why/ people love the stories they rec. It helps me notice things I didn't notice before. It's fascinating.

Right now I'm going through a stage where I'm reading whole bodies of work--everything a particular writer has written. I'd be really interested to see what stories stand out to people and why.

So many Due South writers are prolific that most writers have a genunine body of work.

oh, I LOVE that idea, and I am in total agreement about how much fun it is to see WHY people love the fics they love. Great thought - it's definitely on the list!
