Why I'm reccing this fic: I absolutely broke my heart against this story. 'Con Job' imagines the undercover job prior to the Vecchio job, and the state of mind that conning and betraying guys Ray'd liked would have left him in. This version of Ray struggles with where his covers end and he begins. He is convinced that no one can see through him, and as a result others' trust in him just makes him miserable. It is a wonderfully achy story.
