Short podfic is awesome, and a ten-minute fic may be perfect to listen to while doing the dishes. But sometimes I have long train journeys, and then I want podfic that lasts for hours. Here are two of those.
Title: The Border Between Life and Death
Author:
cesperanza
Reader:
nos4a2no9
Pairing: F/K
Rating: NC-17
Length: 124 mb, 2h 13 minutes, 21 800 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: This is a classic Speranza story with lots of backstory for both Ray and Fraser, and I love Nos' reading of it--her voice just puts me right there in the story. It's not exactly free from angst, though, so it might not actually be good for train journeys unless you don't mind crying in public. Yes, that actually happened to me when I listened to this--it had been a long time since I read it.

Title: Teeth of the Hydra
Author:
resonant8
Reader:
general_jinjur
Pairing: F/K
Rating: NC-17
Length: 130 mb, 2 h 28 minutes, 25 700 words.
Why I'm reccing this fic: Here's another classic, which coincidentally also has lots of Ray backstory.
general_jinjur reads mostly in SGA, so I think this was the first podfic of hers that I listened to. She has a lovely voice, and the pacing works very well for me. Besides the main story, there's also a deleted scene and a little sequel recorded as separate podficlets.
