Showing up in fics (more often than not)  as a buffoon or some kind of afterthought, Renfield Turnbull deserves some lovin'. Yes, there is a strong possibility that his character was simply created as a sharp contrast to Fraser's occasionally dark (re: the Victoria arc) but always whip-smart persona.

However,  there is a lot to like (if not love) when it comes to Turnbull which is why I've dedicated this week's rec post to
him.
