Title: Want
Author: to be revealed
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski
Rating: PG
Length: 4,000 words
Why I'm reccing this fic:
I don't think this story can be recced too often. Sharp and poignant and real in a way that isn't affected by 'reality' or 'whimsy'. Brilliant and sad and hopeful. This story gives up its secrets slowly, and while a second reading isn't required I can only recommend it to see how all weaves so beautifully together.
The blond man was there again when Fraser passed the bakery on his morning run with Diefenbaker. Fraser only just caught sight of him out of the corner of his eye as the man walked into the shop. One blink and he was gone, as if he'd never been there. For the hundredth time, Fraser wondered if he should try to catch up to the man, have a word.
He kept running.
