Why I'm reccing this fic: I am absolutely in love with capella_fic's writing, and this series of Ray/Ray fics in particular. For someone who claims to have an F/K OTP issue, her Ray/Ray is just awesome. It's hot, and they are so THEM, and, god, these two fics include a little bit of genderfuck and Ray Kowalski in makeup and smooth, sexy, a little bit dangerous Vecchio, and DANCING. I hope she keeps going with this, because it is just that good.

Why I'm reccing this fic: I am one of lordessrenegade's number one fans. She came to us from Sports Night, and she is one of my very favorite DS writer. I really could have recced any of her fic, because I love it all, but I chose this one because, well, it's F/K/V, which she does SO well, and it's just gorgeous and hot and all the voices are perfect. She's a fantastic writer who can pack so much into a short, smutty fic, and I love her for it.

Why I'm reccing this fic: I think she really captures what could be a scene out of the show. It's Fraser, shot, and Ray in the hospital, waiting to find out if he's okay. Liz takes what could easily be an over-the-top, overly emotional scene, and keeps it very firmly in character. You can feel Ray's frustration, his worry, building throughout. It's short, and very powerful, and very, very Kowalski.

Because it's just - completely in character, totally Ray, except he, uhm, likes to wear panties. And Fraser finds out. Trust me on this one - it's just insanely hot. Okay - how about you at least trust me enough to click the cut-tag, because Ray in worn jeans and panties = HOT.

It is sad, so be warned, but you do need to read it because Ray's emotions shine through so clearly in the writing. This author can actually make you feel what the character is feeling.

Why I'm reccing this fic: I may be biased because I helped beta this fic, but I think it is absolutely awesome. Written for getfraserlaid this is an epic Fraser POV. Set during Asylum it shows both missing scenes and Fraser's POV on scenes we do see. Fraser's voice is spot on and his emotions feel very authentic. The poetry theme running trough the fic links all the scenes together nicely and the sex is very hot.

Why I'm reccing this fic: I'm a sucker for academic AUs, and this reads right--both as a retelling of the characters, and as a fictional description of academia. Plus, I love the dead!Bob moments. The idea of Ray as a successful professor, complete with side projects and advisees, is really well done here, as is Fraser's awkwardness and idealism as a grad student.

Finally, did I mention the hot sex?
