Title: Pas de Deux
Author: Sihaya Black
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski, Fraser/Victoria
Rating: NC-17
Length: Wonderfully long
Why I'm reccing this fic: I figured all of my favorites had been recced so far, but then I realized that I hadn't seen this come up yet, and that's just a damn shame, because this is a classic. Ray as a dance teacher! Fraser being his block of wood self, with cameos by Victoria and Vecchio. There's also polka dancing! Seriously, if people weren't coming over soon, I'd be rereading it right now. Instead, I'll just save it to the desktop until I'm stuck on an airplane next week.

Title: Do-Right
Author: [livejournal.com profile] sprat
Pairing: F/K
Rating: NC-17
Length: 5000 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: Oh, God, why. Well, 1) it's [livejournal.com profile] sprat, and 2) leading from that, it's AMAZING. It's a young student Ray and an older professor-like Fraser, it's an academia AU, it's a little inappropriate, and it's a lot beautiful. Both are so perfectly in character, and fit this universe so damn well. The feeling in this fic blew me away. Fraser is tired and wired and frustrated, and Ray is interested and persistent. And they click. It's hot and a little sad and simply gorgeous.

Title: Ecce Homo
Author: [livejournal.com profile] lady_sylvia
Pairing: F/K
Rating: not sure, actually. R?
Length: um...it doesn't say! Middle-ish.
Why I'm reccing this fic: Oh God. This is SUCH an original, fascinating, hilarious, AWESOME AU. It's takes place in Italy, 1604. No. REALLY. There's Raimundo Vecchio, and Monsieur Benedetto Frasier. There's Stanislaus the sailor, and Llewellyn, his captain. There's even a slightly cooky artist Voltabufalo (GUESS WHO) and a rather...inappropriate painting. In short, this is a fucking brilliant AU, with rather a terrific epilogue. Not a lot of people seem to know about it, and they should, thus the rec. I actually don't want to even put in an excerpt because you should just go and read it without a preview. So much better that way. *g*

Title: To Run
Author: [livejournal.com profile] torakowalski
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski
Rating: R
Length: Short
Why I'm reccing this fic: Written for [livejournal.com profile] ds_flashfiction's mix and match challenge, it swaps the characters roles around without changing their personalities at all. It's a perfect re-imagining of the events that happened 10 years ago at Fortitude Pass. It gives me tingles every time I read it.

Title: Family Portrait
Author: Journey (I don't know if she has a livejournal)
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski
Rating: NC-17
Length: 446K
Why I'm reccing this fic: Because so very little is actually changed but it makes such a huge difference. And the changes are very realistic and amazingly probable. And I love seeing Fraser and Ray around kids. And her Fraser voice is absolutely spot-on. The sex is awesome too. It's absolutely scorching. Really, there's no reason not to read.

Titles: Vegas Blood, Chicago Midnight, Chicago Moon, Chicago Pack, Chicago Mate
Author: [livejournal.com profile] jenboo
Pairings: Fraser/Kowalski, Fraser/Vecchio, Vecchio/Kowalski, Vecchio/OMC, Fraser/Vecchio/Kowalski
Rating: NC-17
Length: The first two are short, the other three are long
Why I'm reccing this fic: Vampires! Werewolves! Probably the most 'out-there' long AU there is, this story is nonetheless written in serious terms and allows for easy suspension of disbelief. You'll want it to be true. Plus Dief gets a long and involved part, instead of the usual cameo.

Title: Strange Loops
Author: [livejournal.com profile] aukestrel
Pairing: F/K
Rating: NC-17
Length: This is actually a novel.
Why I'm reccing this fic: God, this just BLEW me away. [livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl told me I HAD to read it, and I first I was unsure, but then I got hooked for days and days. It shouldn't make sense (Ray as a introverted, brilliant molecular biology professor and Fraser as his graduate assistant, who smokes and swears), but it DOES and it's really just amazing and awesome and addictive, and you should run and not walk to read it RIGHT NOW.

Title: Ghosti
Author: [livejournal.com profile] hth_the_first
Pairing: F/K
Rating: R
Length: long
Why I'm reccing this fic: I read this not very long ago. I'm actually surprised that there aren't more AUs that break Ray and Fraser up as partners post-MotB. This is one of the rare ones. Vecchio and Kowalski go to Canada to visit Fraser, each for their own reasons, and Kowalski stays. And stays. It's just gorgeously written and beautiful, and I love it. It's like a special treat.
