It was my idea, and yet I came within spitting distance of failing to rec anything this week. And I fully admit that the suggestion was for entirely selfish reasons. Next time I come down with con crud, I want a list of stuff to read.

Unfortunately, not already having a list makes it hard to find things to rec. Bit of a catch-22, there.

We all have taken a chance on a story by a new author, and been glad we did! We also have read fics by well-known authors that we've never heard of before, and wondered why.

Rec us your favorite hidden gems! Something that you think maybe the rest of us missed somehow that you LOVED. There have to be some good things that we've missed, and you should take them out of your little box and show them to us!

The challenge will be open through Sunday, April 22. And, as always, we're looking for suggestions for future challenges, so drop a comment here if you have any!
