Well, I was going to rec Double or Nothing, which is the story that [livejournal.com profile] brynnmck wrote for me and thus hits ALL MY KINKS, mmm post-Vegas F/V, go read it guys!, but someone got there ahead of me. Which is good because I hadn't figured out how to get down to just three. It was still hellishly difficult. All from this year because SO MUCH GOOD FIC, OMG YOU GUYS.

Title: Five ways Ray and Ray redefined romance
Author: [livejournal.com profile] slidellra
Pairing: Ray/Ray
Rating: R
Length: ~1700 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: This fic is just witty and hot and sweet and snarky and filled with Ray/Ray pushy, angry, adorkable love. I'm just going to paste my anonymous "three things I loved" comment (edited for clarity) because I think that says it all:

1. I love how everyone at the 2-7 including Welsh has turned into a smiley pod person. Inexplicable yet hilarious.
2. Kowalski thinks a lot about Vecchio's clothes. He likes his wool coat. Also this: "And how did he keep his clothes all smooth like that? Five minutes in that shirt, and Ray would look like Gigolo: The Morning After, Part II." lolz!
3. Kowalski says "YOU COMPLETE ME!" Joking, yet not. &hearts

Title: Gaze
Author: [livejournal.com profile] spuffyduds
Pairing: Fraser/Vecchio
Rating: NC-17 (mild)
Length: ~2000 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: So there were rumors that I wrote this fic, which, um, I WISH GUYS. But those rumors started because this fic contains one of my very favorite things of all time: Fraser topping Vecchio. HOT. It also contains the most hilarious poker game of all time, with Ray sucking on lollipops to stop his tells, Gardino, Fraser not being as naive as he seems, and LOTS LOTS MORE.

Title: Mosaic, Piece by Piece
Author: [livejournal.com profile] china_shop
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski/Vecchio
Rating: NC-17
Length: ~24,000 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: Oh wow, this fic. I mean, it's 24,000 words or so, and I've ALREADY read it three times. And, um, comment-spammed [livejournal.com profile] china_shop. It's just so good, I mean, F/K/V epic, I don't really need to hear more, but then---Vecchio's LONGING in this fic, guys. I mean, this is REALLY nice post-Vegas Vecchio. And Kowalski runs a pizza place in Canada! And there are polar bears, and Vecchio/Kowalski growing friendship, and Fraser telling Inuit stories when he's nervous, and the phone call at the end is AMAZING.

Title: So This is Not the Place
Author: [livejournal.com profile] dessert_first
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~1800 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: When I think about this year's DSSS, specifically F/K, this is the first story that immediately comes to my mind. It is just so goddamn moving. And beautiful. Staggeringly beautiful.

Title: Homeward Bound
Author: [livejournal.com profile] pir8fancier
Pairing: Fraser/Kowalski/Vecchio
Rating: R
Length: ~19100 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: This is probably my favourite DSSS story when it comes to F/K/V. I love Pir8fancier's style to bits and this fic once again shows her amazing ability to write boys as boys. And I adore Vecchio's pov here.

Title: Good Cop
Author: [livejournal.com profile] belmanoir
Pairing: Kowalski/Vecchio
Rating: NC-17
Length: ~7300 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: As I said in my comment on the story, despite being quite angsty at times, this fic made me ridiculously happy and left me with this wonderful warm feeling inside. I love the dynamics between Rays here. Plus, hot as a hot thing! :)
