Why I'm reccing this fic: A sea cruise fic! (Not to be confused with a certain other fantabulous cruiseliner fic, which I don't think I can rec because it's an RPS crossover?) Anyway, here's a chance to see Fraser and Ray on the way to Acapulco, with shorts and sandals on, sipping fruity rum drinks, and playing shuffleboard. Hee! Somewhere amidst the karaoke and the dirty old ladies after Fraser's body, the guys stumble across a mystery, and eventually each other. Shipboard romance for the win!

Why I'm reccing this fic: A wonderful epistolary fic--the exchange of letters after the adventure and Fraser has moved back to Canada. After an event gone bad, Ray quits the CPD and travels to Arizona and California, sharing his experiences and emotions with Fraser. Fraser's support is rock-solid throughout. An absolute highlight is Ray's report of taking a job as a substitute teacher, and the speech he gives his kids the first day of Civics class. Truly fabulous character voices and friendship fic.
