Why I'm reccing this fic: 1. Because is gives good Ray! 2. Because this is her first Due South fic and I'd like her to write more. 3. Because Ray has issues...I love a Ray with issues. 4. Because it has a yummy sex scene or two in it. 5. Because she hasn't read a whole lot of fanfic, so this is how SHE sees them. 6. Because Fraser doesn't do the right thing for once. 7. Because she's a stickler for emotion and her work is always full of it.

Except Ray knew his breathing had already notched up a level, and Fraser wasn’t stupid. Fraser heard things. Interpreted signs that most people couldn’t even see.

WOW--thank you for reccing this, Berty! This is a tour de force! Where did you find this woman? Please, please get her over here to LJ ASAP so we can torture coax her into writing us more F/K fic. My mind is blown.

This story has a fresh, original feel to it. You're right about her ability to infuse a story with giant emotions. She managed that without melodrama, and I really didn't feel that any part of the story was trite or cliched. What an achievement. Just. Wow. I feel as mind-blown as RayK. did in that story. :)

Hey J! *grins* She's a writer from my first fandom, Stargate SG-1 - in fact she's a very well-known writer over there. And she's my best buddy too!

I have been TIRELESSLY bombarding her with the hotness of RayK and Frase. She finally caved and is a card carrying CKR freak now. *beams proudly*

And yeah, her style makes her stand apart IMHO. I'll pass your comments on if you don't mind. New dS authors are always a good thing.
