Why I'm reccing this fic: because Nos is absolutely a wonder with words and shows us a young Ben Fraser who's never left the far north, who has no idea what the hot sand would feel like between his toes, who has no idea what the rushing murmur of the waves sounds like, has no clue how salty the air smells. A Ben Fraser who is defined and limited by his environment, but who sometimes secretly dreams of more.

Why I'm reccing this fic: because it's arrow00, for god's sake. Isn't that enough? Oh, hmm. Well, arrow00 is one of the best writers around and this story always makes me think of hot, humid days in Chicago. It's a story of discovery, a story about garden gnomes and cool, soothing baths, a story about heatstroke and sexual heat and love. *fans self* And it's hotter than hell, like 99.9999% of arrow00's stuff is.
