Why I'm reccing this fic:

1) Ray's a pilot in this.
2) There's angst. A lot of angst.
3) There's also sex. In a bushplane!

That's not enough? Well, fine: Fraser doesn't speak to him after that. Well, not apart from confiscating Ray's keys and insisting that friends do not let friends fly drunk. Except that isn't what he says, because two beers do not equal 'drunk,' and Ray doubts if they've actually been friends for a very long time.

Why I'm reccing this fic:

Fraser belongs to Canada and Ray belongs to Chicago. This fic is not a very happy one, as they try to figure out what's what during COTW (warning for alternate ending). ignazwisdom did a helluva job with this one, although I'm more one for the "happily ever after" fics.

But then maybe other people weren't in love with Benton Fraser, RCMP. Oh, who the hell was I kidding? Everyone was in love with Fraser. I guessed it was just my luck that in my case, he happened to return the sentiment.

It was also just my luck that we hadn't even had a chance to do anything about it yet. Or not much, anyway. Hadn't even figured it out until after I met his sister and came to the painfully embarrassing realization that I, Ray Kowalski, had a Mountie kink. Of course, that realization was nothing compared to the next one, which was that the Mountie kink was really more of a Benton Fraser kink. The second one was a little harder to deal with. It wasn't that Fraser was a guy -- I'd clued in to that embarrassing realization about myself a million years ago -- it was that he was my partner. Every cop knows that if there's one thing you can't do, it's fall for your partner. But then I never was real good at playing by the rules.
