Character studies: vids

Hi! I'm Primrose, and I'll be this month's guest reccer for the next three weeks. This month I'm going to rec character studies from various media. Knowing me, there'll be a whole passel of Frasercentric stuff. Erm.
Today's subject: Vids!
Some of these will be familiar to long-time fen, but because of the influx (yay!) of new people I don't feel redundant at all in reccing them here.
Title: Out Here
Vidder:
heresluck
Music: Peter Mulvey - Out Here (lyrics)
Pairing: F/K
Production history: here (great insight into the vidding process)
Video Commentary: here (pieces of the actual video as well as clips of drafts, with voice-over commentary. It's made of a substance way greater than awesome). I'd watch it AFTER you watch the vid itself.
( Why I'm Reccing This Vid )
As far as I can see, there's nowhere to watch it online. It used to be at imeem, but since imeem was bought by MySpace, everything's weird over there. If anyone knows of anywhere it's uploaded, let me know and I'll add it to the info. ETA: There's a Video Commentary here at BAM video, but I still haven't found an online of the unnarrated version.
Download here. (DivX.avi, 38.4 MB)
Title: Needful
Vidder:
fenlings
Music: Natalie Merchant - My Skin (lyrics)
Pairing: Various
( Why I'm Reccing This Vid )
As far as I know
fenlings has never uploaded this for watching online.
Download here (megaupload, .avi, 52 MB)
Title: Let the River Run (original and revised versions)
Vidder: Mary S. Van Deusen (With C. Parnes)
Music: Carly Simon - Let the River Run (lyrics)
Pairing: None
( Why I'm Reccing This Vid )
Both are remastered from vids originally made on analog equipment from VHS clips, so the picture quality isn't perfect. Do NOT let this sway you, however because they're excellent vids. They are not available to watch online.
Download both versions here. Original is mp4, 217 mb. The re-edited version is mp4, 27 mb (both playable on VLC). Mary rotates which of her vids she makes available, so get them now while the getting's good.
Title: Superman's Song
Vidder:
lipstickcat
Music: Crash Test Dummies - Superman's Song (lyrics)
Pairing: None
( Why I'm Reccing This Vid )
I couldn't find a working download link for this vid. Watch it online here at YouTube.
Title: You Can Call Me
Vidder:
sdwolfpup
Music: Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al (lyrics)
Pairing: None
( Why I'm Reccing This Vid )
Download here (DivX .avi, 45 mb)
Watch on BAM video here
I have GOT to stop myself here. There are a bazillion more vids that should be recced, but I'm out of time and hey, there's a character limit for posts.
I'm not ruling out reccing more vids later on, so stay tuned.
