ds_recsredux | Admin Post: It's almost that time!

The very first challenge will be up tomorrow morning! I hope everyone is excited and ready to put on their reccing caps! And, even if you haven't read stories that fit the challenge, what a great way to go out and read some new stuff, and maybe find something you love. We've got a GREAT intro challenge in store for you all.

Just a few technical things to keep in mind before the posting starts. PLEASE read these guidelines before you post!

Each individual can post up to three recs plus an insta-rec per week. These can be posted all in one post or in two or three separate posts, whatever you prefer!

Your subject line should be the names of the fics you are reccing ONLY, separated by a comma.

The body of your post should be formatted as below. You can snag this code for your posts from the user info page.
Title:
Author:
Pairing:
Rating:
Length
Why I'm reccing this fic: (this can be as long or short as you like it, but the more in-depth you go, the better!

and in here you'd put a VERY short snippet of the fic

Then a link to the story here.

Having a brief excerpt is NOT required, but you may include one if you want. And that's it!

We want this to not only be fun and good for us now, but a resource for people who are new to the fandom and will want to find things based on their particular interests. So, I have created some generic tags to use on your entries. Right now, they are just a limited number of pairings, ratings, types of fic, and names of challenges. PLEASE tag your posts with appropriate tags. I will go through manually as we start up and add tags to people's entries until we have enough tags for people to do most of it themselves. While I don't mind at all tagging everything as it comes through, whatever you can do would be SO helpful! That way, we can keep things organized and easy to find.
