Okay! Last day of itty bitty fic recs, and the last day of my week of power. I will miss the power very much.
china_shop has thoughtfully gathered her commentfic and snippets here, which makes me happy. Elsewhere, there's this bit of Kowalski, F/K kisses, this itty bitty bit of hee! and this excellent conversation with Innusik (wee!Ben). Also, this F/K/V commentfic.
spuffyduds has a great talent for finding fresh, perfect moments or insights, making each snippet vividly unique. I am powerless to pare down my rec list in the face of such an ability. There's Happy Families (Kowalski/Stella), Fraster/Thatcher UST, the glee-making F/K Irresistible Force, Radio Fraser (Fraser & Kowalski), Overload (Fraser & Vecchio), Loud (Fraser/Victoria), And Back Again (gen), and what might be my personal favorite, the stunning apocalypse drabble The Last Step is to the Side.
I browbeat
omphale23 into unlocking this icon drabble post, so everybody could enjoy this F/K, and the several downthread. Also, these.
bluebrocade has this strong tendency towards evil. It makes for fabulously entertaining snippets, like Aphorisms Don't Equal A Flathead Screwdriver (gen, dead!Bob), Cleanliness is Next to Godliness (and Raise-Worthiness) (F/K, NC-17), and I'll be sleeping on the couch for a while.
There's this response to
ds_flashfiction's voyeurism challenge by
dracostella.
Check out this post, where
brynnmck reposts much good stuff, including her drabbles and love bombs from Team Romance (F/V and F/K/V).
You know what rules? Riv/GTO schmoop, by
sdwolfpup. There's also lovely F/V commentfic here, and F/V fic here. Also, check out this post, home of six (6) awesome little commentfics (gen, F/K, Ray/Ray).
The lovely
mergatrude give us that post-CotW happy feeling here. And then there's this conversation leading to F/K/balloon. And, y'know, because I've neglected the Kowalski/Gardino pairing most dreadfully, there's a strong hint here. And these three conversations with
china_shop, which only flirt with ficcishness, but are awesome nonetheless.
For great Ray/Ray minific, there's
elementalv's Stakeout, and
lordessrenegade's In between.
shayheyred gives us Unnatural and Inappropriate. Cute! Also, Ache (F/K, or F&K).
Don't miss A lack of color, a lovely, ouchie F/K snippet by
simplystars.
nos4a2no9 wrote some F/K kissing, which I've heard is pretty popular with the kids these days, and also two all-purpose flour snippets (the first F/K, the second Vecchio), and I dig the imagery like whoa.
Whew! That's it for me. Enjoy the itty bitty excellence, and believe me when I say that this is a tiny sample of the shortfic fun to be read.
And if you know of commentfic or stray off-the-cuff ficcishness from years past, I'd love a link almost as much as I'd love a chocolate milkshake. But I would really like a milkshake, too.
