Why I'm reccing this fic: Love this story, probably one of the first five dS fics I read, and would be the first fic I'd recommend to a new reader, once I'd gotten them past the whole wait, explain this fanfic thing again? and then the wait, explain this slash thing again? barrier.

I love the device ces uses in Scrabble--the format, how you can read either Ray or Fraser's POV at any given time, or simultaneously. Which is in turns suspenseful, hilarious, hot, or saddening. I also love how it ties into one of the central issues of the story, Ray and Fraser's failure to see what's going on from their partner's side of things--they're lacking a united view.

Basically, Fraser's Victoria issues get stirred up, which causes all his other issues to rear up, and, well. The center cannot hold. In the end it takes an intervention from Dead!Bob and seriously hot sex to work it out.

The blowjob scene stands out because

cesperanza isn't happy only to make sure the characters involved can't be anyone other than Fraser and Ray--she takes the extra step of using the blowjob to make Ray and Fraser take on even more shape in our eyes. Ray and Fraser's characters aren't just being defined in that scene, they're being built. Through blowjobs. Tell me that isn't pretty freaking awesome.
